## How do I request tracked changes in a DOCX?

Open the Word document, describe a focused revision, and explicitly request tracked changes. Inspect the proposed edits and reopen the exported DOCX in your review application.

## Example request

Update the delivery date to 15 November in the paragraph and table. Make these tracked changes and leave the fees unchanged.

## Open the existing document

Note any comments and revisions already present. Identify the paragraphs and tables that need attention.

## Request a scoped revision

Describe the edit, ask for tracked changes, and say which terms must stay unchanged. Read the proposed result in context.

## Check the exported DOCX

Reopen the output in your review application. Inspect existing and new comments, revision authors, and accept or reject behavior before sending it onward.

## What to check

Review history and export behavior need particular care. Do not assume every existing comment, revision, or author detail survives a round trip; verify the exported file for your review requirements.
